Dust off your radios. If asked, our club may assist with communications next September 8 and 9, for a major cycling event in High Point.
Check out the following letter recently sent to the event organizer, and the link below.

Dear Mr. Hinds,

Ms. Nancy Bowman of the High Point Visitors Bureau suggested that we make contact.

I am president of the Tri-County Ham Radio Club, a group of approximately 50 communication and electronics hobbyists from the greater High Point area, who are ready and able to provide professional level communications for public service events, in service to our community.

We have the equipment and expertise, to efficiently provide communications over a wide geographic area, at rest stops, and in SAG vehicles, with links to medical, police, and other emergency services.

Please let me know if our club can be of assistance.
