A draft agenda for our next meeting is provided below and has been e-mailed to all members on the Groups.io member mailing list. As always, anyone who wants to add to it should pipe up anytime between now and the time it gets adopted at the start of the meeting! (That's why it's a draft agenda!)

I hope y'all will attend. Few attended in December. Not only is there great food and fellowship at Tres Amigos (even beer, if you want it) but this is also the meeting where the rubber hits the road in terms of deciding how the club spends your dues in 2024.

Speaking of dues -- no one's going to object if you pay them now, although they officially aren't "due" until this meeting. If you want to pay at the meeting, that's good too. I'll be there with the receipt book and will happily relieve you of that extra $25 (individual), $30 (family), or $10 (senior) that's been burning a hole in your pocket.

5. Open motions from previous meeting(s):

a. Whether club should participate in Everybody's Day 2024 (tabled 19 Aug. 2023).
If so, appoint committee to plan and execute.

6. New Business/motions:

a. Initial operating budget for 2024 (W8LWX motion previously circulated)

b. Appointment of 2024 Field Day committee to plan and execute club's participation
in ARRL Field Day, with pre-authorized budget of $______.

c. [If club has voted to participate in 2024 Everybody's Day]: Pre-authorized budget of $____
for participation in 2024 Everybody's Day.

d. Appointment of audit committee to audit 2023 treasury report and submit findings
at next regular business meeting; or, in the alternative, motion to approve 2023
treasury report as posted on NC4AR.org and e-mailed to members 07 Jan. 2024

e. Motion to amend bylaws to reduce number of required formal business meetings
